Bought the Blackberry 8530 to use in Ireland. Local store set up all up for
me and told me they had registered it for international use.
Got to Ireland -- no luck, nor did my associate have any luck with his
8530. Took them to local Vodophone store. They said we were the 8th
blackberry that week and they couldn't help us. After 3 days finally got
Verizon tech service at 2am who, after 30 minutes got them to work. Tried
to get verizon to reimburse is for the $60 phone calls back to the states.
Nada so far. Still trying
Good luck if you try it. Verizon obviously has a problem with registering
their phones in Europe
