How to move Razr photos and videos to PC.

| How can I get the pictures, or videos, from my Verizon Motorola Razr V3M
and put them on my computer?
I read the manual and could not find anything about this. I know I can
message them to another phone, but that's it.
Is there a special USB cable to do this, or can it be done at all?
I'm a newbie with a camera phone, as you might have surmised.

Buy a copy of Motorola Phone Tools and a USB cable (mini USB to USB) if
you don't already have one. It doesn't really matter which version of
MPT as upgrades are free (and automatic).
I.e.
"http://cgi.ebay.com/MOTOROLA-OEM-DATA-CABLE-SOFTWARE-4-0-V3m-V3i-v3- 98741H_W0QQitemZ3300

em"
Then see:

The problem is that Verizon disables photo transfer using Motorola Phone
Tools, and you have to re-enable it with the instructions in the URL above.

| And if you are in a pinch and need a photo right away you should be able to
e-mail it to yourself.

Easiest way is to plug in a MicroSD card, transfer the pics/videos from the
phone's internal memory to the card, then use the card with a USB card
reader on your PC.

You can E-mail the photos to yourself, at great expense. Or you can
buy a trans flash memory card for the phone and a USB "reader" for the
transflash card. A Motorola SYN1114A "reader" will read a standard SD
card. The Micro SD card I bought on Amazon came with an SD adapter. I
tried it and it works. I don't know if the SYN1114A is still in
production, I got mine second hand!

This can be done without a SEEM edit. In Motorola Phone Tools, you
can change the modem to something other than the normal setting for
your phone. When you get down to model selection, just try a few. I
think the one that worked for me was Z6mm. With this setting I can
transfer pictures back and forth from my computer, even though Verizon
had disabled this function for my phone model.

Thanks to all that responded. I guess it can't be done without spending
more money.
