Author Total Cost for Verizon Everything?
Jar-Jar Binks

What is the total monthly cost for the following:

1. Verizon unlimited voice plan (I believe it is $99)

2. Unlimited Text (how much for this?)

3. Unlimited Internet (how much for this?)

4. unlimited picturemail (how much for this?)

5. Unlimited navigation (how much for this?)

6. Unlimited Vcast (how much for this?)

What is the total for all of this?

Thanks,

Jar-Jar

Or PagePlus for under $60/month unlimited--and still use the Verizon
network.

It's an MVNO on the Verizon network. It's prepaid. Use any Verizon
phone. I bought a Verizon inPulse phone at Wal-Mart and put it onto
PagePlus.

http://www.pagepluscellular.com

If you really want unlimited 24/7 calling, it's between $1.99 and
$2.49/day (depending on what state you live in).

They don't do data (coming, or so they say) and texting is extra.

Unlimited nights/weekends is 99 cents/day; you can do the math on your
own usage to see if that's worth it to you.

Their regular prepaid rates are as low as 5.5 cents/minute, if you do it
right; I suppose if you regularly do more than 40 or so minutes/day
every day, the unlimited 24/7 is a bargain.

Without looking... I'd guess the following amounts (you might want to check
for sure... :) ) There are so many options nowadays...

> 1. Verizon unlimited voice plan (I believe it is $99)

$99.00

> 2. Unlimited Text (how much for this?)

$30.00

> 3. Unlimited Internet (how much for this?)

$60 (including tethering)

> 4. unlimited picturemail (how much for this?)

$00 with unlimited text

> 5. Unlimited navigation (how much for this?)

Not sure, but I think it comes free with one of the other packages...

> 6. Unlimited Vcast (how much for this?)

$30 I think. Also think it incluedes the VZNav

> What is the total for all of this?

$219 plus tax and any "hidden" fees. Prolly arond $250/mo (could be $30 or
so cheeper, not sure if the $60/mo data/tethering might already include
VCast and VZNav). But this is close. It ain't close to the original $99/mo.
That's for sure.

No such thing on Verizon any more.....5GB for $60, definately not
"unlimited".

This was in response to the NY State Attorney General's lawsuit exposing
the lies.

It's not unlimited tethering. It's 5GB/month PLUS 50 CENTS PER MEGABYTE
OVER 5GB EVERY MONTH!

They do data unofficially. They don't charge you for dial-up QNC data (the
old Quick2Net.) It's a blazing 14.4kbps connection, but it's good enough
for WAP browsing and e-mail.

My PagePlus phone is an old Samsung i600 WinMo Smartphone ($25 on eBay)
that can sync with my Exchange server to keep my Contacts, Calendar and e-
mail up-to-date wirelessly for the Princely sum of $0.00/month (on top of
my $2.50/month voice cost.)

I use this as a rural backup for my T-Mobile PDA phone. Verizon coverage
at thrift store pricing, and still have "last resort" of data connectivity.

Larry complains about this because his pedophilia addiction would cost
him huge amounts of money if he contracted with Verizon for data access.

Haha... $0.50 per MB is the new reduced data overage charge on PDAs. Before
this recent change, PDAs with unlimited data (i.e. 5GB) was $15.0 per MB!
(i.e. $0.015 per KB) Thank you Verizon for lowing my overage rate! LOL.

Advantage of using VZW instead of PP is that you can "roam" on the
American's Choice plan (meaning you can use Extended Network
partners). On PP you pay $0.59/min when you go off the VZW network.

I'm travelling to an area that is served by US Cellular next week, so
the off-network AC plan fits my needs quite well.

20.00 if single line, 30.00 for a famly share

for a phone? or PDA? if phone, monthly access is included. You pay
for usage unless you have the vcast below. If PDA it is 44.99 (5
gigs)

>4. unlimited picturemail (how much for this?)

Included with texting

>5. Unlimited navigation (how much for this?)

9.99 per line (phones only. not PDA)

>6. Unlimited Vcast (how much for this?)

15.00 a line. (this would also cover all your internet usage if you
have a phone.)

>What is the total for all of this?

Depends on your phone. for most phones you are looking at
99.99+20+15+9.99= about 145.00

Some phones may qualify for thier premium plan. that has vcast,
messages, and navigator (I think) for like 30.00.....That would save
you a bit...

If you have a PDA, they are not vcast and so that changes things a
bit.
