Australia's equivalent to the USA police state "Patriot Act" has
resulted in an australian being sent to jail for 3 years based on the
contents of an SMS he sent which was supposedly in support of
terrorists. (In australia, it is illegal to discuss terrorism in a
supporting manner).

So if you send SMSs to Australia, expect your message to be scrutinized
by some Patriot-Act style software.

I suspect the USA would have similar practices.
