Back when I was on Sprint (few months ago), you could get arround this
by dialing 11 followed by your cell number. At the time, calling this
way would be billed as PCS to PCS. Not sure if this loophole has been
closed however.

Incidentally, you could also use the 11 prefix to call any Sprint PCS
number and get immediately connected to a person's voicemail without
ringing their phone.
