Can I use my sim from my TREO 650 in old phone?

I love my Treo, but sometimes I need something smaller to carry. Can I
put the SIM in my old Sony/Ericcson and use that? Is there any harm in
trying it? The Sony/Ericcson is only a year old, and I believe it has
the same SIM. That phone was also used with Sprint.

Sprint phones do not have SIMs, and can't be used like phones which do
use SIMs, like the GSM side of Cingular/AT&T Wireless or T-Mobile.
