Sprintpcs says keep checking every couple of days for when we get their
picture service part of the Vision pkg working for the Treo 600 after
more than a week. So cancelled 'em today and movin' on. Jim-G

You will be back. Sprint is the best of all wireless providers. See you here
next month.

"More than a week," huh?

Aren't you the patient one! <g>

Just out of curiosity, which carrier are you going with?

Not so patient but see it this way... the people I spoke to were
congenial and seemed professional but, all I kept getting were excuses
concerning when the service would be available and could give no end in
sight to the problem plus;

when I called to cancel there was only the question why and they
practically paid me to get out. So 'that' was a no brainer.

They must consider whatever isn't happening more work than we are worth
at $80/month.

Considering options but appears Verizon.

Have you been a customer of all wireless providers?

Mij Adyaw

All except T-Mobile. Just left Verizon 1.5 years ago.

Then you're not in a position to judge which company is the best of all
wireless providers.

No, However, I have a good opinion redarding Cingular, Verizon, and Sprint
since I have been with all of them. I will not comment on T-mobile since I
have not used their service.

Although I'm personally a VERY satisfied T-Mo customer, their large
Achilles' heel is national coverage, which is a solid notch below the
big three. I could easily see someone who travels a lot (particularly
by road) eliminating them from contention and having to settle for one
of the big three carriers despite their higher costs and inferior
customer service... ;-)

But with their true no-roaming-nationwide calling plans (as opposed to,
say, Verizon's nationwide-where-we-feel-like-giving-you-service), and the
new ability for postpay accounts to roam onto 850 MHz Cingular GSM networks
as well as a number of 1900 MHz networks, I see this as a lot less of an
issue than it would have been a couple years ago.
