| My wife wants a new phone, doesn't like her Sanyo 4920, candy bar type
phone.
She wants a flip phone, no need for camera, games, web. Just a plain
phone that has good audio and holds a connection.
I first looked at the SCP-3100 but saw some negative comments about
units dieing.
Any suggestions are welcome.

I have had my SCP 3100 for about 8 months now and it works fine.
My wife's LG sounds better but mine gets better reception.
Battery life has been fine.
I will probably get another phone in a couple of years. I really
don't like the phone that much but I can live with it.

I have a severe hearing loss and when I got the phone, I had to get one that
was compatible with the T-coil
in my over the ear hearing aid that I was wearing at the time.
I usually wear a cic (completely in the canal) hearing aid and this phone
has to be positioned perfectly
for me to hear and it drives me nuts sometimes trying to find the "sweet
spot". It was being repaired
when I got the phone and I won't make that mistake again.
