Selective Call Rejection?

| Is there anyway to use this feature on Sprint PCS?
I ask because some idiot from the same phone number (612-208-1212)
keeps calling me. I never answer it and simply let it roll to
voicemail. They *have* to know they have the wrong number by now, but
once a day at utterly random times the number calls me. I'd love to
block it and avoid the whole thing. But if I can't do this, I guess
going and filing a police report will be my only recourse.

| I'm not answering my phone at 5am. I've been wise enough to turn my
ringer off at night. I identify myself in my voicemail message, if
they are too damn dumb as to not comprehend they have a wrong number,
XXXX em.

I don't know if it will work on all models, but on my Sanyo SCP-3100, I
would add the number to my contact list under something like "shithead"
and set the ringer to "none". If they leave a voicemail, that will still
be a problem, but it will keep your phone quiet for the usual roll-off
delay.

And if it is an automated dialer doing the calling, are you expecting the
computer to recognize the wrong number?
Based on your last post, it would seem that it's not really that big a
problem for you. You're not willing to answer the phone once to solve the
problem- it would appear that you are looking for the lazy way out as
opposed to solving the problem.

| Sprint does not offer the feature per se, but a few phone models have
it as part of their make up. A once over of your fine manual should
answer any questions as to whether your particular model supports it.
If it does not, you might want to think about registering your number
with donotcall.gov. It takes about 31 days to circulate your number to
the various telemarketing places and get removed from their lists, but
if it is a private individual calling this will not work. Of course as
you are unwilling to answer the call to find out, you may never know.
