How to fix HUGE caller ID text?? (SCP-3100)

| My family has Sanyo SCP-3100 phones on Sprint PCS. It's a great phone,
we're completely happy, but there's one problem I can't figure out how
to fix.
We use pictures for Caller ID's, which is a popular practice. When I
get a call from my wife, her picture appears on the display. The
problem is that her phone number also appears there, which is normal,
but it's in HUGE letters about 1/2" tall. It covers up over half of the
picture. Is there any way to reduce the size of those numbers?

Don't have the 3100, but have the Katana. With my phone, I can go into
Settings, View, Other and adjust the font size.
