Author QUESTION about LG LX-350

I have a LG LX-350. Overall it works great!
However, I have some questions about it.
I cannot locate any answers in the LG LX-350 user manual.

1) The external Voice Command Button - Can this be disabled?

2) Or, can this phone's Voice Command "feature" be disabled?

The reason is that sometimes I accidently touch that damned
external Voice Command button when laying down the phone or
placing it back into it's holster.
This causes both the internal and external displays to
remain ON indefinitely, visually stating, "Please say the
Contact's name".
This also places unnecessary drain upon the phone's battery.
To turn OFF that damn visual message, and both displays I
must instead open the flip and press the END button.

Thanks in advance for any comments about this.
