Lots of echo lately

| Subject line says it. I'm in New York City. The echo is on my
side. I hear my voice in delay and it's driving me out of my mind. At
first I thought it was a localized problem, but now I'm getting it in
various places.
For nine years I've been defending Sprint because while I
admit the company is off the radar in terms of customer service, I've
always enjoyed fine coverage, no dropped calls, great rates, etc. (and
I don't have a single friend who doesn't complain about some aspect of
their mobile service).
But this could be the end. Is anyone else having this sort of
problem in NYC or elsewhere. Anyone have an opinion as to whether it
might be transitory or all downhill from here?
Thanks in advance, DGI

Thanks. This would almost certainly be a local problem. A few
years ago everyone in my local area had the same problem of calls
going dirctly to mail between about 4:30 - 5:30 pm. It was fixed
within a few months, and probably had something to do with adding more
subscribers than they could handle in a single locality. This might be
something like that.

| I hear echo when in the Twin Cities (MN) area. Sometimes it's not so loud
but other times the echo is almost as loud as the person on the other end.
Sometimes I think it has something to do with the other person using a
Bluetooth headset... Dean

Thanks. In my case it has occured frequently when I called my
wife at home on our ordinary land line.
