I must say, the couple of times I've dealt with Sprint customer service,
it's been equally good.

Not sure where the rumors come from about horrendous customer service...

Oh, they weren't rumors. Plenty of people had crappy CS experiences, including
me post-merger. It's cool if they are finally cleaning up their act...

Not to beat a dead horse, but I've been with Sprint for about 10 years
and have been quite satisfied with CS.

So was I, before the merger.

I was mostly happy with Sprint until I actually had to use customer service
for something other than their simple scripted scenario. Then the screws came
out and got me. I just renewed my second 2-year agreement with Verizon and
couldn't be happier about it.

Steve,

They are getting better - far from perfect but a whole heck of a lot
better that say 6 months ago.

I had to deal with Sprint CS just yesterday. Needed to make a bunch
of mostly small changes to the business account (kill one phone, add
PAM to my 755P, etc.). Other than a problem with getting the setup on
my Palm 755P correct, everything else was taken care of with dispatch
AND correctly.

That's good to know. CS was their Achilles heel when I left. I loved the
network and they had a good selection of phones and services.
