Getting RAZR V3 without rebate hassles

| Last month when I visited my friend in NYC, he bought 2 RAZR with basic
family plan ($60) from a dealer in china town, queens. He got the
phones for free and paid only sales tax. No rebate form to fill. I am
trying to get a similar deal in san jose, CA. Does anyone know where to
get it? Otherwise I am going to call the same dealer in NYC and ask him
whether he can ship the phones to me. I hate to pay upfront and wait
for the rebate.
