I'm not a tmobile subscriber, but my mother is. I know basically nothing
about their services. She had a new contract for two phones on the family
plan, June 2004, at the going rate of 400 minutes shared for, I think,
49.99. The current offer is 500 minutes at the same rate. She's under the
impression that if she wants to change her plan she only has until the end
of April to accomplish this. Why? Is there an expiring offer? I can't see
anything like that on the website. I thought she should wait until June so
she could get two new phones (whether they use them or not). Does Tmobile
lock you into another 1-year whenever you change terms within an existing
contract?

Oops, maybe I phrased it wrong. She and I know she can change her plan at
any time; she thinks the 500 for 49.99 is expiring; is it?
