We paid a $$$ premium for two V600 Motorola phones a little over a
year ago and they've been abysmal. See rant on alt.cellular.motorola .
Now just need cheap phones that don't need charging every night. Talk
time is < 1 hour per day per phone.

I'm getting >36 hours standby, with an hour or so of talk (that's the
longest I've let it go between charges) on a year old Nokia 3595.

Don't buy Motorolas and you'll be infinitely happy. Any Nokia would do
better. Right now, there are several available through TM at very low
cost with a contract extension.

I agree, our 6800 is on its 9th day with about 40mins of talk time in there.
Still have 2 pegs left.....

I agree. My 3595 gets at least 4 - 5 days between charges and that's down a
bit from when I first got it a couple years ago. I used to be able to go
for over a week on a single charge. That's on standby all the time - I
never turn it off.
