I am returning the Motorola V330 I received from T-Mobile last week. I was
very excited about the quad band capability. Unfortunately, the following
issues were just too annoying for me to justify the $150 upgrade price:

1. The display is very hard to read outdoors in bright sunlight, making the
phone very difficult to use.
2. Picture quality is very poor (out of focus).
3. When you charge the phone, it turns itself off when charging is
complete.
4. Saved shortcuts are deleted every time you turn the phone off.
5. To use Voice dialing, you need to copy your phone numbers from the SIM
to the Phone's memory. However, there is no way to configure the phone to
only show numbers in the Phone's memory, so all numbers are shown twice.
You can get around this by assigning a special category to each number in
the phone's memory, but the displayed category selection reverts to "All"
every time you turn the phone off.
6. There is no way to use the built in speakerphone to listen to a voice
note that you have recorded.

It makes you wonder if the design engineers working on this product have
ever bothered to use their own phones?

I'm back to waiting to see if Nokia ever comes up with a quad band phone.
