Hi Guys,

I just wanted ask the group if you have any statistical info regarding the
usage of T-Mobile dial up via GPRS/EDGE.

Thanks!

You don't dial up using GPRS or EDGE. GPRS or EDGE are ways to get
high-speed data on mobile devices using your provider's network.
People who use dial-up, also known as circuit-switched data (CSD) are
using a mobile phone to essentially emulate a modem and allow them to
log on to a dial-up service of some type.

It's h ard to know what you mean by statistical information, but if
you elaborate, maybe someone here can help.

T-Mobile doesn't have any EDGE just yet.

I have been using the GPRS data feature ($19.99 a month if you have another
voice plan) for about 2 years now and it has worked wonderfully for me.

This is the problem of handsets, GPRS has indication on the display but EDGE
has not.
You need to connect the phone to other interface, i.e pc to check thet
speed.

They have announced that they are going to install Edge towards the end of
2005. But they haven't indicated where or how much.
