As per another post on here some time ago, I had to call T-Mobile CS
and ask the "determined call forwarding" to be removed from my account
profile. If the CSR doesnt know what you're talking about, ask for the
call forwarding to your voice mail to be turned off or ask for tech
support. Once that is removed, your forwarding doesnt default to
805-MESSAGE. The code I use is *004*+xxxxxxxxxxx*11
*tt# then send. The
x's are the forwarding number you want (including '1' before the area
code) and tt is the ring time you want (5-30 seconds). On the other
hand, ##004# send turns off all forwarding. In this mode, if you dont
answer it rings longer (about 1 minute) and then callers either get a
fast busy or the "customer is unvailable" message. Also, in this mode,
callers get the customer is unavailable message when the phone is
unreachable (turned off) or a busy signal if you are busy or reject the
call.
