Author TMO rolls out EDGE - the cause of my GPRS problems?

My Nokia 9300 for two days now tells me "GPRS is not subscribed to" and Cust
Service does not know why (I am in the metropolitan Chicago).

But they did tell me that they have EDGE now in 70% of their markets since
September 1.

Did anybody see increased speeds? I also wonder if there is anything I need
to change on the phone to work with EDGE.

Thanks.

Dmitri

Other than a phone that's EDGE compatible? Nope.

Actually, it turned out my SIM card is the culprit. It is one year old. I
popped in my buddy's news card - no problem. He cannot connect with my card
either.
