Pretty solid coverage along the entire route [a], with
seamless roaming back and forth between t-Mobile,
Cingular, Dobson, Castonega (?), and a US-some-number [b].

Made and received voice calls with most of them, using
an unlocked Nokia 3595 and an original Omnipoint SIM.

(don't know what would happen with a locked phone).

[a] if there were any blind spots they were pretty small.

[b] I think it was US 320 or 360, but could easily
be mithremembering.
