Need help with Mobile 5.0 GPRS settings on T-Mobile
|

| I have a Dell Axim X50v with Enfora CF GSM/GPRS card and T-Mobile
Internet plan. BVRP pocket phone tools doesn't run on 5.0. I have no
problem making a manual connection in 2003 SE, but when I do the same
in 5, I get connected but can't use the connection. I keep seeing
where people write about using the APN, but I can't see where to put
it! I use the dialing string *99***1#. Could sure use the help of some
smart people.

| Sorry about the "smart people" pandering remark.

| Does that card do EDGE or just standard GPRS?

| Standard GPRS only. The make and model is Enfora GSM0110. I just got
off the phone with T-Mobile tech (got all the way to Tier 3) and they
find nothing wrong on their end. Also, they say I'm using the correct
dial string. They even confirm that I'm getting connected. However, I
still cannot use the connection for anything. When I try to go to a
URL, Pocket IE says it is "Locating" then says it's "Opening". That's
where it ends.
