Blackberry services down?

| Did anyone else notice that Blackberry services (BIS) stopped working
Saturday evening, NY time?
I've only had a BB for a couple of days, and already the service has
gone down? Is this typical??

I've never lost mine. I'm in the NY metro area, but was traveling this
weekend and actually not in the area Saturday. I would suspect the
problem might have been with a specific tower you might have been
synched to or a misconfiguration with your device.
