| Does anyone have any tips on how to configure bluetooth on my PC so I can
easily transfer files (photos, etc.) betweeen this cell phone and my PC?
I have successfully configured a bluetooth connection between the PC and the
phone where I can use dial up networking to connect to my ISP via a CSD
connection (very slow). I can also manually send a photo from the phone to
the PC, but that is a time consuming process.
What I really would like is to set up a bluetooth connection where I can
browse the files that are stored on the phone. Can this be done?

Mike,
I went to Samsung's website and downloaded all their free software for
the T509. I am having a heck of a time with it. They do not have a
driver for the phone and it appears most of their software is designed
for use with a USB cable that I have only found on eBay. I even
downloaded the Samsung PC Studio for the T809 but it won't recognize
the T509. I have been able to transfer phone book entries on my PC via
bluetooth using one of the softwares I download - but I am having a
heck of a time with the Bluetooth connection - it has paired ok. I
have spent hours on this - I want to use this phone when traveling to
access the internet using the add-on $29.99 data plan T-Mo has. I
had a V600 Motorola and it was so easy using the Motorola phone tools
software - this is turning into a nightmare. I sent a request to
T-Mobile and also Samsung to no avail. If ANYONE out there can provide
any information - I hope they do. Thanks! DonnaB

| It took me a while to get this working. I downloaded the
SGH-T509 Samsung PC Studio PIMS (ver.2.0) software that was located on
Samsung's Download page for the T509. This did seem to work for letting me
move files between the PC and the phone using bluetooth.
I know that the documentation available from Samsung and T-Mobile is spotty.
However, from what I have seen so far, for the money, this is a great phone.
It's just too bad it's not a quad band.

| I finally got it to work, by discovering my PC from the phone. Then the PC
studio software was able to make the connection.
