It's trivial to spoof and jigger GPS, when you are controlling it.
If not, blocking signals is dead simple too, just use wood or tinfoil or
something like that. If you don't know, just test it with a GPS receiver. Water
is effective.

This is entirely unnecessary. People have accidentally set shop-bought 50
dollar gadgets up "wrong" and jammed all their kit and everything nearby, i.e.
for about fifty yards around.
