Hi folks,
I'm new to satnav - just bought a tomtom 300 last night, so i'm sorry if
this is really stupid question. I don't seem to able to connect it to my pc
(to back it up) using the software that came with it. It tells me to connect
the unit to power supply and switch it on and then click the arrow. The only
power lead that came with it is the one to connect it to the cig lighter so
i can't connect it to power. It is fully charged however. Is this the
problem? ie will I have to fork out for a mains charger? Is there any other
way to connect it to my pc?
Many thanks in advice
Mike.

The only lead you need is the USB one that should have come with your
tomtom.
