Does anyone no if they make an antenna for the 2610 like the one you
get when you buy a new car? I seen one today on back of a new BMW.
Kina looks like a small shark fin on the back of the car.

I'm interested in one too. Do you know if it's easy to install them?

While I am a fan of Gilsson antennas myself, they don't have the
appearance the OP was looking for.

That should have been http://www.pc-mobile.net/. None of those
antennas have the appearance the OP was looking for either.

This is not a GPS antenna. You saw an antenna for the integral cell
phone. My Lexus also has one of those - used for their version of OnStar.

On my car I have an antenna with Ukw (fm), GPS and GSM. However the GPS does
not fit the 2610 as the antenna demands 5 or 12V power from the GPS and it
only gets about 3V from the Garmin :(

Thought about buying a local GPS transmitter to connect to the antenna so
the 2610 kan be used without external antenna wire.

Google for it! :)
