Silver Shield mount - is there tilt adjustment?
|

| I've this week purchased Navigator 5 (working perfectly - receiver works
even within cubbyhole in dash!) and a Silver Shield powered mount. Now the
blurb for the latter (see http://www.pdamods.com/pda_speaker_mount.htm)
indicates that the mount has both:
# Spring Ratchet locking pivot point.
# 5 angle positioning allowing you to set the perfect viewing angle
Now I'm either going mad, or I've been sent the wrong mount, or the blurb
is wrong. For the life of me I cannot find *any* way of adjusting the tilt
angle using this mount, rendering my PDA invisible when attached due to the
steepness of the windscreen on my Mazda. The ratchet _is_ there, allowing
the unit to swivel around the mount (i.e. portrait to landscape), but I
can't see anywhere that the viewing angle can be changed.
Has anyone got this mount? Is there a tilt adjustment?
Many thanks in advance,
Mike Atkinson

<sheepish>
I was going mad - the stalk is bendable! Many thanks to PDA Mods for
pointing this out to me.
