A pity it looks like it's been designed using off the shelf parts from Radio

What's wrong with that (the Radio Shack look) ? Does it, in your opinion,
make the GV-101 a poor performing, low quality device?

I think the point was, it looks like a poor performing, low quality
device, AND that's a shame. It's very simple.

Not at all but design is a driving factor in this sector. Given the
competition, the Globalsat is lacking. Fashion sells.

The greatest country in the world has to wait...
In old Europe we have the Yakumo Delta X which is a pocket PC, a GPS
receiver, a GPS antenna and all that in one with Sirf III...
Sold in almost every hypermarket
Maybe Walmart sells it also?
Have a look again.
