I want to use this unit for geocaching but the supplid software is not up to
it. I bought Beeline but that is disappointing and often locks up.
Looking for suggestions of alternates please.

I'm am pleased with OziExplorerCE on my iQue M5, though I'm not a
geocacher.
You have to obtain the necessary (raster) maps yourself.
And you also may need to have the PC version (OziExplorer) if you need
to calibrate the acquired maps.
