| Is there a site which allows you to track on going flights , For
example , flight AO411 of Olympic Airways is expected to leave Athens
Greece to JFK at 10.25 GMT and I would like to follow its location
during the flight
Thanks in advance for your help

Not that I know of. The airline's site and the destination airport site will
probably give you up-to-date ETA information - but I doubt whether there's a
site which will tell you exactly where the aircraft is on a minute by minute
basis.

You can buy receivers that track the transponder signal from an aircraft.
Connected to a computer with the appropriate software will give you the
location of the aircraft, provided it is within radio range.

A few weeks ago I saw an experimental web site based on Google
Earth that showed the entire incoming and outgoing traffic
around LAX with airplane designators, pink trails and all, in
real-time, updating every few seconds.
Forgot the URL, but perhaps somebody else has it.

Try this.

| I use www.fboweb.com - Use the Quick Track option for a free enquiry.
There are some starnge naming convention though, for instance British
Airways BA 0509 is put into the quick flight as BAW509. Once you get to
the next screen, you should see a Google Earth Button, push this and
then it takes you to Google Earth (must be already running) and this
provides a LIVE track.
