I notice the Horizontal accuracy on my
Garmin Fortrex 101 is displayed, and varies.

I was wondering how accurate the Altitude accuracy is?

Does it vary also, or is it more, or less accurate?

thanks

Based on geometric arguments, altitude has roughly
twice the error of horizontal position.

Actually the Garmin Fortrex 101 estimate, not measures,
error... and should be taken with a grain of salt.
