Common problem with Outhouse Express. Get a real newsreader or use
google groups to check messages have been posted.

I think he was suggesting using Google to verify that a post made it
out to USENET.
In my experience, a lost post is usually not a fault of a particular
newsreader (although I understand the poster's disdain for OE), but a
problem with the poster's news provider.

Exactly.

While there is practically nothing I like about OE, I was serious
about that particular bug. When I read the OP's message, I knew before
checking he was running OE, I have seen it many time before.

Better wait a few days then.
I use Mozilla thunderbird for email and NGs. Works great.

| Moderated? I don't think so. Newsgroups are not always moderated. At any
rate, not getting your message posted is probably due to a problem with your
settings and/or your ISP. Either that, or you just didn't wait long enough.
Posting a newsgroup message is rarely instantaneous.

If nothing happens in Outlook or Outlook Express try synchronizing the
group, (you did remember to set the synchronising - didn't you)?

i see what happened now.... it was pure coincidence that my subject line was
the same exact wording as an earlier post, so it got connected to that.
