TOM TOM maps, Eastern US-where?

| Hello,
i'm looking to obtain some tom tom maps for the US. I only really need
the Eastern states i.e NY upwards though i note that the whole of the
US is sold as a separate item?

What kind of TomTom do you have and what kind of maos do you already
have? If you have a GO 300 or 700, i believe those come with maps of
all of the continental US. If you have a 510 or 910, I believe those
come with maps of the US and Canada. Though if for whatever reason you
need to buy more maps, I think you can at TomTom's site.

Hi,well i have a tomtom one so it only has the supplied UK maps. I had
a look at the tomtom website but it seems a little unclear as to
whether they send the maps via the mail on an SD card or you download
it from the site??

You can do either. You can ask for an SD card and they will post it to you,
or you can choose to download the map yourself, obviously the download is
slightly cheaper as you are not getting an SD card with it. But you will
need a card reader in order to copy the map across.

| I know with my laptop, there is a card reader pre-installed. I would
say if you have this, downlaoding the US TT maps would be easier.
