Software to Update Windows Clock from GPS
|
|
|
| We have a Trimble Placer GPS that we want to use to update the system clock
on a Windows PC. I would like to identify robust Windows applications that
run as Windows services that could perform this function. I'm getting the
NTP server and other functionality around updating time on the network from
Greyware, so I only need a specialized program that will update the system
clock. What are my options? Does Trimble have a commercial or free
offering that does this?

What operating system? Does the PC have Internet Access?
If it has internet access, XP-based systems can synchronise already -
double-click on the clock, then look for the 'Internet Time' tab.
