Adding favourites to TomTom from wgs84

I am trying to add favourites taken from a Magellan Platinum in wgs84 and
add to favourites in Tomtom, but I get a huge error.
Is it impossible to add wgs84 coordinates to Tomtom Go? If Tomtom uses a
special coordinate system - how can I convert coordinates between them+

You can do this in two ways; by direct entry in "Navigate To" in the
newest software installed with TomTom Home or by importation as a POI file
prepared using the excellent freeware software found here:
