Hi:

It is for me a pleasure being able to comment you that Giscover now
offers a "tour embedding" service.

=BF What is this "tour embedding" feature ?

It is a code that enables you to show, in your very own web page, a
tour (based on the GPS track, GPX format) that you had previously
uploaded to Giscover. With this feature, you will avoid the requirement
of having to navigate through the Giscover portal in order to find and
show the world your tour.

I think this could be better explained with an example. On the web page
of the Albatross Cyclist Forum we have already inserted the embedded
tour of the last ride we made. As you can see, is now directly on the
Albatross web page where now are shown the Goggle Map of the route and
all the altimetry information of the GPS track (total ascent and
descent included). You can also display the altitude profile and path
of your ride. Even more: from this embedded tour, people will we able
to download your GPS track (GPX format), so you could share it with
rest of the world ! Obviously, this embedded tour is highly
interactive. I think this feature is a gem :-)

You can watch this example of a Giscover embedded tour in the web page
of the Albatross Ciclyst Forum, wich is located at (the embedded tour
is displayed after the forum's description):

http://albatros.r8.org

You can obtain the same results in your very own web pages. All you
need to do is to upload the GPS Track of your ride or tour to Giscover,
where additionally you could share it with the rest of the world !
After that, you only need to insert a few lines of code in your web
page in order to show the embedded tour directly in your page :-)

And all this service is free, immediate and automatized :-)

You can reach Giscover at: http://giscover.com

I sincerely hope this information could be useful to you

Greetings
