SD size limitation for venture CX?

| another one of my questions that should be obvious but somehow are not. is
there a maximum size limitation for Micro-SD card that I can use on a
Garmin eTrex Venture CX? (I see that I am not alone in questioning these
sizes).
I want to upload topographical, autorouting maps for US and keep a world
one handy as well on the same card. I see that I can get micro SD cards
that are 2Gb but do they work on the unit?

I'm using a SanDisk 2GB microSD card on my 76Cx for a few weeks now, no
problems.
