I have a leadtek 9553, but it has no support for an antenna, and loses
its satellite fix, as soon as I go into a shop. I'd rather it worked in
the house too, (so I can connect it to my ipaq in the house, not in the
cold outside, and test different GPS software in the house, without
chanigng out of my pyjamas)

So i'm going to get a leadtek 9559X. It has support for an antenna(a
wire I can stick out a window?). But i'm wondering if it's in any way
worse than the 9553?

Also, i've seen full GPSs (with screens) working, in shops. Are these
plain (no screen) receivers weaker? 'cos I thought hte leadtek with
its SIRF III thing was meant to be top notch.
