| Hi
I just recieved a garmin nuvi Navigator 9.0 update disk and have installed
the maps on my computer.
But how do I update the map on the Nuvi? When i select all the maps in
MapSource (1.2 GB) and choose. Send to Device i says that it is out of
space. Do i have to delete the old map first?
If yes...how? Should i delete the two files. gmapbmap.img and gmapprom.img
which is aprox 1.1 Gb large? i don't want to "damage" my device since i am
going on a long trip in a few days.
Second question. Does this update disk contains updated POI information. If
yes. How do I update these?
THANKS in regards

Hmmm. After running the setup.exe where MapSource, Maps and the unlock
wizard I get an error box telling me that;
The map update on the Garmin GPS unit has faild.
Press retry to attemp the update again,
Press Cancel til exit the setup program.
Could it be related to my Windows Vista instalation? I dont think so sine
everyone else is running fine like mapSouce and WepUpdater.
Anyone have tried this? And better. Know what to do?
regards

| Hi,
That the price to pay with ultra new technology and being the really first
one. It's a like being a new type of explorer deeply gone alone in the new
technology forest.
Please be kid enough to rapidly inform GARM's support service so that they
can solve the problem.
This will help future Windows Vista adventurer time.
