Author SBAS reception on pnr 138 / Garmin channel 51?

Hello,

I've just been to South America, and even though I new that no current
SBAS system sends ionospheric delay data for grid points over South
America, I enabled WAAS/EGNOS (SBAS) support in my Garmin GPS 60
receiver, just to see what it would do.

Of course, no differential fix was ever possible, but to my surprise,
the receiver showed a strong signal on Garmin channel 51 (PNR 138) for
about two minutes. Now, I did kind of expect to receive channels 35 and
47 (WAAS PNRs 122 and 134), but channel 51/PNR 138 struck me as
strange: At the following link, it seems PNR 138 is currently not
allocated:

13, PDF alert)

I does seem that PNR 137 is MSAS (Japan), but that should have been
channel 50 on the Garmin.

So my question is: who/what is running PNR 138 at the moment?

Thanks in advance,

Niek Bergboer

Mike
