Although I don't know if I agree with GPSing my kid's car, , , Blindly
trusting kids is ignorant. I know more people that just blindly trust
their kids, and all it is accomplishing is that they really don't know
what their kids are doing. The feel good about their parenting because
they sit around dreaming of their kids helping old ladies across the
street and not breaking any rules of law or morality, when their kids
are complete assholes.
If I had a nickel for every parent that said they trust their kids, and
say it like it's some badge of honor, but who's kids are pot-smoking,
shoplifting, drunken, promiscuous idiots, I'd be a very rich person.
The only way to know if your children are truly trustworthy, is to see
how they conduct themselves when they think they're not being watched.
Anyone that thinks different is a fool.
