Crossover - Last Chance!

| There are a lot of things I like about the Crossover but two things that I
really have a problem with:
1. The unit seems to freeze sometimes when I am in Vehicle Mode in remote
areas. It suddenly loses GPS fix when GPS signal is strong. I check this
with my cheapo dependable eTrex. I can also switch to Outdoor Mode and the
GPS signal usually returns. When I switch back to Vehicle Mode it might
last for a while and then drop out again, all the while GPS signal is
strong.
Sometimes it also freezes completely for no apparent reason in less remote
areas and I cannot figure out a pattern with those times.
2. I cannot find any way of uploading to my PC, the hundreds of waypoints I
have created on my Crossover. This is something I can do very easily with
my eTrex using ExpertGPS but I haven't found any way to do this with the
much more expensive Crossover.
If anyone has a Crossover and can give me any hints with either of these
problems or any other advice to make my unit more useful I would very much
appreciate it. At this point I am planning to return the Crossover because
it seems to me that it is not working properly and it is not as useful as I
need it to be.
Thanks!

Stephen,
Some discussion on the Magellan Users group at Yahoo. In particular,
comments about compass freeze here

I hope this helps!

I have no problem to export
them to the sd-card.
Otherwise your device is not ok.
