New Magellan Explorist xl? Do you pick up wass satellites

Well if you bought one after 7/31/07 you don't pick up
the new waas satellites and the old ones are down. That
satellite marked w on the satellite page is just a mistake.
In a side by side comparison with my friends exact same
unit(purchased 6/07 and showing waas in effect) I am losing alot of
accuracy.
Does anyone know anything about updates to firmware
that will fix this? Maybe if enough people complain they
will finally fix the problem.
