Garmin eTrex Vista Cx vs GPSmap 60CSx

| Hello,
I have an eTrex Vista (b/w)which I use on my bicycle when traveling, and
for the most part I have been happy with it. I am considering upgrading
to a color unit because it would be easier to interpret the display,
especially while riding.
Both the Vista Cx and the 60CSx accept data cards. The Vista Cx is
lighter and more compact, but that also means a smaller display. It is
also easier to use with one hand. I have read a great review about the
reception strength of the 60Csx, and this has been a week point with the
Vista b/w. I frequently lose signal because of tree cover and
buildings. Both units have bicycle mounts available. I am presently
using MapSource MetroGuides for North America and Europe. I think that
these can be used to download map data to each of the color units,
although the CityNavigator series seems to be preferred.
I am inclined to chose the compact Vista Cx over the 60Csx, although I
pulled to the later by its reception strength.
Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

| I have a Vista C and want the extra memory, but will not buy a Cx before
they install the new chip as in the 60CSx. People are raving about the
better reception under trees and even inside buildings.
I do prefer the more compact etrex, especially the antenna on the 60CSx is
irritating. Every time I leave my bike, I put the GPS in my pocket. I also
use my Vista even for trekking and walking in cities and think the 60 with
antenna is much to big, just to have in the pocket, which is perfectly ok
with the etrex.
So, I'm waiting for a better VistaCx.

PS: even my Vista C has the problem with the rubber coming loose.

I own the CSX, the third iteration for me: previosly, the CS and the
Etrex Vista. I think reception sensitivity is very important which is
why my head snapped back when I first turned on the CSX. It's amazing!
What a difference. And I have the bicycle mount too, and they work fine,
especially with the bike doing the heavy lifting. Hope this helps.
