Any source for pre calibrated maps for Pathaway?
|
|
|
| I've calibrated a few maps of the local area for use with Pathaway, but I'm
not very good at it. My first map was off a bit. I tweaked it and got it
right on the money. My second map I swear I got the coordinates right on 9
points on the map...but the road is off by about 1000 yards (east to west
only) at the bottom of the map. I'm sure I can tweak it and get it
right...that's not the issue. I'm lazy...that's the issue.
Are there any sources of pre-calibrated maps. I prefer USGS Topos in 8
meter...but could work with anything.
Thansk,
Nate

I think you can get that from TTQV.de - Using TTQV, you can buy the
complete calibrated maps on DVD and then transfer them to PW in the
slices you need. And TTQV can read the coordinate file, so you only
need to assist the load, but not calibrate fully manual. That is ok
for a few maps, but not for all US.
