tomtom: what (tomtom) cards are compatible with go?

| my parents are coming to visit me in germany in a couple months and
want to use their tomtom go (300? 500? i'm not sure, hopefully it
doesn't make a difference) while they're here. afaik there's currently
a US card in there that came with the system.
my question is: can i use tomtom one or other tomtom go cards in it?
it appears that on the german ebay there are a bunch of cards (most of
them have labels that say tomtom one, but there is a tomtom go
available) for sale by people who bought a system with the germany
card but later purchased a europe-wide card, for example.
will any of these cards with in my parents' tomtom? (i guess it all
boils down to: can i use a card labeled "tomtom one" in a tomtom go?
are these cards tied to a particular system or do they require
activation?)

If they have a USA map, are you sure it's not a tomtom 910?
Or do your parents come from the uSA?
