"GPS trackmaker" co-ordinate problem
|

|
| Hi,
Trying to convert OSGB to lat/long in GPS trackmaker.
every time I plot out (convert) the point for use in Google earth (and other
online mappers) the wrong co-ords are displayed.
eg Nine standards rigg... OSGB on British grid is :- NY 8255 0610
Should be lat long of 54°27'3.65"N and 2°16'10.41"W
BUT gets "translated" to :- 54°23'19.27' -03°24'51.77"
I assume I have stuffed up the system / datum / coordinates SOMEHOW...
Using "Rectangular grid -> British National grid"
Datum "OSGB 1936 <England>"
tried converting cords to degrees/mins/secs and datum to WGS 84........
I know I am missing something obvious??
Any suggestions
Tim
