| I just got back from 5 weeks in New Zealand ( two weeks in a motor
home, north and south island) and used the free maps. They are great.
The guys have done a wonderful job of compiling. I was using a
GarminGPS MAp 60 CSX. Every road we traveled was on the map. The only
thing I found frustrating being a fisherman was the rivers are not
named. But for road and hiking use they are fine

It was a godsend. Yes, there were some notable mapping errors, but
they were minor, and it sure makes for a much less tense drive.

PS... Don't leave your unit or its cradle exposed when parking.
I had my rental car broken into and my complete outfit was stolen
while in Wellington. I had to order another unit from Canada for the
rest of my journey.
