Author nuvi 350 vs. 650

OK, I think I've narrowed my choices down to two - the nuvi 350 at $390
or the nuvi 650 at $530. It will be primarily used in one car,
portability is not an issue. Will the bigger screen size be a
noticeable improvement? Is the 650 as bright as the 350? The extra
$140 is not a major issue but I don't want to pay it if it's not going
to really gain me anything.

BTW, what do people use these babies for other than automobile
navigation? I gather that Garmin is pitching their nuvi line as a
"personal" navigator, not just for cars. I already have an eTrex Legend
and an Edge 305 for biking. I've tried geocaching a couple of times but
am not really into it.
